Program Meeting: The Mississippi River Flyway

Dick Sayles, president of the Quad City Audubon Society, will present on the importance of our local Mississippi River Flyway for birds and waterfowl species. The “canary in the coal mine” and the “warbler in the woods” both serve as indicator species of our ecological health. Also, birding is a low impact way to enjoy nature and help to maintain our community’s natural resources.

The program is free and open to the public and starts at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 20 at the Moline Library.
