In the Fall of 2014, Tony Singh and his daughter, Moselle, took on the challenge of hiking for 37 days to walk 500 miles from Denver to Durango. The Colorado Trail, at the average elevation of 10,000 feet, is a premier hiking path in the Rockies that threads its way through six forested areas and eight spectacular mountain ranges.
In addition to the physical and spiritual benefits of this wilderness traverse the idea of bringing attention to the plight of the bees was the prime motivator for this undertaking for this long wilderness trek.
Join us on Monday, March 21 at 6:30PM at the Moline Public Library to find out how Tony made a connection between a 500 mile hike and helping the local bee population!
