Amber Schorg is a biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service https://www.fws.gov at the Iowa-Illinois Ecological Services Field Office.  Her primary focus is taking a partnership approach with the wind energy industry to merge bird and bat conservation with renewable energy production in Illinois and Iowa. Amber’s presentation will provide an overview of the groundbreaking science and technology being used in the Midwest to understand, predict, and minimize impacts to bat species by wind energy production.
